The Blind Creek Ensemble

Recently returned from their finalist performance in the international flute quartet competition run by the Australian Flute Festival, the Blind Creek Ensemble looks forward to their 2026 performance season.

Founded in 2024, The Blind Creek Ensemble is a collective of chamber musicians in Victoria’s south-eastern suburbs. The group is named after the Blind Creek, which runs through the City of Knox, and was formed by Kelsy De Prada who recognised the need for more local chamber music performances by local musicians. Since their humble beginnings, the group has continued to great successes including delivering independent music series in the local area, winning Open Small Ensemble section of the Victorian Flute Guild's ensemble competition and being selected as a finalist for the Australian Flute Festival's International Flute Quartet competition.
